$10,000 Reward Offered In Ferndale Bank Robbery

FERNDALE (WWJ) - A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of a man who robbed a Ferndale bank in broad daylight. 

The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 25 at the Huntington Bank on W. 9 Mile Road just west of Woodward Avenue. 

According to police, a man with a medical mask over his face displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded a teller give him cash from their drawer. The teller handed over the money and the suspect fled out the back door. No one was injured. 

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'10" tall and 170 lbs. wearing a Federal Premium Ammunition baseball hat with a black front panel, dark sunglasses, a white medical type mask, black jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes.
