April 10, 2019 - 8:56 am

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - Two teenagers have been arrested after a 15-year-old was stabbed at an underground parking garage in downtown Ann Arbor.

The incident happened just after 2 p.m. Monday at a parking structure in the 300 block of Fifth Avenue, near Liberty and Main streets just west of the University of Michigan campus.

Officers found the victim with multiple stab wounds to the back and leg and had to use a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. The teen was rushed to the hospital, where he remains at this time. His current condition is unknown but reports indicate he's expected to survive.

Two suspects were taken into custody hours after the stabbing. Investigators say the pair knows the teen, but they haven't released any information about a motive for the stabbing.

An investigation is ongoing.
