2 Arrested In Fatal Shooting Of Warren Man At Eastpointe Gas Station

(WWJ) Two people are in custody following a deadly shooting in Eastpointe.

At around 9 p.m. Tuesday, Eastpointe police responded to a call about gunfire at the Speedway gas station on 10 Mile Rd. near Hayes.

The victim, a 21-year-old Warren man, died at the scene.

Police arrested a 25-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, both from Roseville. 

Eastpointe police say they believe they know why the shooting occurred, and that it was not related to wearing or not wearing a face mask, which was earlier reported. 


"We do not believe there is any threat to the public. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s family and friends," police added. 

Charges are pending. 

No names have been released, as the investigation continues.
