2 Wanted For Murder At Stop Sign In Detroit [SUSPECT SKETCHES]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Do you recognize these wanted men? 

Police have released a pair of sketches as they ask for help to identify and locate two suspects sought in connection with a homicide on the city's west side. 

A 17-year-old boy was killed and a 19-year-old was wounded in the shooting at around 11:20 p.m. on Friday, January 25, according to Detroit police.

Investigators said the victims were stopped at a stop sign in a white 1999 Mercedes C230, in the area of Ashton and Belton, when the suspects approached on foot and announced a robbery. 

When the driver attempted to flee, police said, one suspect fired shots in to the car, killing the passenger. As the suspects ran away, police said, the driver pulled on to the 6000 block of Brace where he called 911. The driver was treated for a non-life threatening injury.

Suspect number one is described as a black male, 19 to 24 years old and around 150 lbs, with a slim build, dark brown eyes, medium complexion and dark lips. He was clean shaven and was wearing a black zip-up hoodie and was armed. 

Suspect number two is described as a Hispanic male, 19 to 24 years old with a slim build, dark brown eyes, light complexion and curly brown hair. He was wearing a red bubble coat and a black hoodie.
