3 Men Shot During Altercation At Detroit Motorcycle Club

DETROIT (WWJ) - Three people are hospitalized after a shooting at one of the oldest motorcycle clubs in Detroit.

The shooting happened early Tuesday morning at the Boogie Down Motorcycle Club on Harper Avenue near Conner Street, off I-94 near Detroit City Airport on the east side. 

Investigators say an altercation started inside the club and spilled out onto the sidewalk. Three men were shot and wounded.

All three victims were transported to the hospital. A 32-year-old who was shot in the left thigh is in stable condition. A 26-year-old who was shot multiple times in the buttocks, right arm and right hand is in temporary serious condition. A 39-year-old who was shot in the left hip and left hand is in temporary serious condition. 

The suspect remains at large. He's described only as an African American man with dreadlocks, wearing a blue shirt. He's armed with a handgun and should be considered dangerous. 

At this point, police say there's no apparent motive. 

An investigation is ongoing.
