DETROIT (WWJ) - Three women and a man from suburban Detroit have been indicted for a vicious knife attack on a 15-year-old boy -- carving their gang initials into his chest.

U.S. Attorney Matthew Schneider says the attack happened in Flint during a dispute over the teen's marijuana business.

The boy ended up with the gang's name (M.O.B. 662) carved into his chest.

Schneider says such attacks are used for members to gain a better standing within the gang, which is a branch of the Bloods.

"There are different lines on this gang, the gang is split into different segments, so you've got some women and some men," says Schneider. "It's a large gang - and nationwide this is a huge organization."

The teen is recovering.

"Emotionally, how do you ever recover from something like this," questions Schneider.

The four alleged gang members are charged with assault with a dangerous weapon in the aid of racketeering as well as robbery.
