(WWJ) As many struggle with COVID-19 itself, fears over the virus or financial concerns related to the pandemic -- the leader of Detroit's Catholic faith is offering hope during the Lenten season.

Archbishop Allen Vigneron -- speaking live on Newsradio 950 -- says the front-line work done by medical professionals is inspiring.

"One of the places He's very much present is in the love we show to one another," Vigneron said. "I've heard wonderful stories about the heroic work that nurses, doctors and their colleagues are giving in the hospital.I think that's one very strong manifestation that God is with us and not to lose hope."

And those who like religion with their inspiration don't have to worry about being unable to partake during this time of social distancing. Easter services this week are not open to the public but they are being streamed on the Archdiocese website -- aod.org.

You can watch the service for the Archdiocese of Detroit at 11 a.m. on Easter Sunday HERE.
