MT. CLEMENS (WWJ) - The Macomb County Prosecutor's Office has issued a five-count felony warrant for an alleged killer on the run.

Authorities say 25-year old Perry Rouse, Jr. -- a convicted felon wanted in the shooting of two people at a big 4th of July block party -- should be considered armed and dangerous.

According to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office, Rouse opened fire into a crowd at the party, in the area of Court and Clemens streets, killing 24-year-old Charlie McGowan of Clinton Township and wounding a 26-year-old Clinton Township woman. Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said 17 spent shell casings from three different weapons were found at the scene.

Rouse is believed to be in possession of "an assault style rifle" and getting assistance from someone known to him, according to the sheriff's office. He's wanted on charges of first degree murder, assault with intent to murder, felon in possession of a firearm, and two counts of felony firearm.
