TAYLOR (WWJ) - Cash was literally flying on the streets after a Downriver bank was robbed Monday afternoon.

It happened at the Citizens Bank on Eureka Road and Pardee in Taylor. Police say two suspects demanded cash from a teller, who put the money in a bag. As the suspects were fleeing the scene, a dye pack exploded on the cash.

The suspects threw the money out of the window, sending cash flying everywhere, as they fled the scene. Bystanders then started picking up the money from the street and sidewalk.

The incident was caught on video, which has since been viewed thousands of times.

Police are now searching for the two robbery suspects, along with anyone who may have the stolen bills. Investigators are urging anyone who has the cash to return it to police.
