Clinton Township Police Searching For Stabbing Suspect [PHOTO]

CLINTON TWP. (WWJ) - Clinton Township police have released a photo of a man wanted for a stabbing over the weekend. 

The investigation began Saturday afternoon when police responded to Garnet Street, south of Quinn, about a car in a ditch. Officers arrived to fins the vehicle running, but unoccupied, with a bloody knife inside. 

A short time later, police got another call about a man bleeding in a car, just down the street. He was taken to  McLaren Macomb Hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury. 

The victim, who was in and out of consciousness, according to investigators, reported he'd been stabbed by a man he'd just met, possibly named Deon. 

The suspect is described as a black male, early to mid 20s with several tattoos: “Blessed” on right inner forearm, a woman’s name (unknown) on right inner forearm, a heart on right side of his neck and an unknown tattoo on the left side. 

He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black cargo pants, red Nike t-shirt with white letters and a black multi-colored Adidas zip-up jacket; and possibly frequents Six Mile/Woodward area.

Police said he is wanted on expected charges of assault with attempt to murder and armed robbery.
