WINDSOR (WWJ) - A walkout could be in the cards for 2,300 casino workers at Caesars Windsor. Both sides have been at the bargaining table since mid-February, a couple months ahead of an April 4, strike deadline.

The various dealers, servers, janitors and other staff are represented by Unifor Local 444.

Caesars Windsor isn't commenting on the talks, but a union rep tells the Windsor Star says that both sides are trying to wrap up non-monetary issues so they can delve into financial matters.

A strike in 2004 shut down the venue -- then called Casino Windsor -- for nearly six weeks.
