Detroit Fireworks To Light Up Downtown Skyline June 25

May 17, 2018 - 10:18 am

DETROIT (WWJ) - It’s one of the most anticipated events of the summer in downtown Detroit.

The 60th annual Ford Fireworks will light up the downtown sky on Monday, June 25 at 9:55 p.m. with more than 10,000 pyrotechnic effects visible for miles along the Detroit River.

The event, hosted by the Parade Company and recognized as one of the country’s largest and most magnificent fireworks displays, attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators along the water in Detroit and Windsor, Ontario.
This year’s show theme “Come Alive in the D!” will be choreographed again by world-renowned Patrick Brault, who has years of experience designing pyrotechnic displays including past Olympics celebrations.
If you can't make it down to the riverfront, the fireworks will be broadcast live on WDIV beginning at 8 p.m.
