Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver Shot In Midtown Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - A pizza delivery driver was shot in Midtown overnight, near Wayne State University. 

According to Detroit police, it happened at around 1 a.m. Wednesday, in the 600 block of Willis at Second Ave., just north of the WSU campus.

Police said a driver for Domino's had just made a delievery in the area when he was shot once or twice -- suffering wounds to the left side of his forehead and left side of his neck

The 33-year-old victim was taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital for treatment. No one else was hurt. 

As far as what exactly led up to the shooting, information is sketchy at this time as investigators say the vicitm could not give a detailed statement to WSU police on the scene. 

Police said they are looking for two suspects, one armed with a revolver. No further description was provided as an investigation continues.
