ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WWJ) -- The eastbound lanes of I-94 have been reopened after a crash around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday left the freeway shut down at 12 Mile Road near Roseville.

The crash happened just east of the 12 Mile exit when a male driver of a Chevy Silverado pickup truck was traveling eastbound and lost control, crossing the median and striking the median wall. The truck also collided with a Ford SUV that was headed westbound.

The female driver of the SUV and a male passenger of the truck were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, while the driver of the pickup truck was hospitalized in critical condition.

All eastbound lanes were closed for roughly five hours, with traffic being forced off at 12 Mile.
