Four Bridges Along Hines Drive Closed For Construction

PLYMOUTH TWP. (WWJ) - If Hines Drive in Plymouth Township is part of your commute, you will need another way until further notice.

Crews will be replacing support beams on four bridges along a stretch of Hines Drive that parallels Northville Drive on either side of the M-14 freeway. Barricades are on all four bridges, but will remain open for pedestrians and bicyclists.

No time frame has been offered for the project's completion.

DETOURS

• If traveling North or South on E. N. Hines Drive between Northville Road (north of Starkweather) and Northville Road (north of M-14): use detour on Northville Road and reconnect with E. N. Hines Drive.

• Westbound E. N. Hines Drive between Jughandle Road and Wilcox Road: use detour onto northbound Jughandle Road, then to westbound Plymouth Road, then to northbound Mill Street, then to eastbound Wilcox Road.  The westbound E N Hines Drive detour ends at E. N. Hines Dr. and Wilcox Road.

• Eastbound E. N. Hines Drive between Wilcox Road and Jughandle Road: use detour onto westbound Wilcox Road, then to southbound Mill Street, then to eastbound Plymouth Road, then to southbound Jughandle Road.  The eastbound E. N. Hines Drive detour ends at E. N. Hines Drive and Jughandle Road.
