(WWJ) Go Fund Me campaigns have been set up for families of a couple killed in a hit-and-run in Monroe County.

Melissa Williamson and Coleen Huling were riding their bicycles south of Ann Arbor when they were struck and killed by a vehicle that left the scene.  There's no word yet on a suspect or the vehicle, but police says it's possibly gray or black in color and missing the front bumper or parts of the bumper.

As for the victims, proceeds from the campaigns will help cover funeral expenses and provide help for the families.

Williamson's cousin Kennedy Haight, who set up the fundraiser, said the family is absolutely devastated by this sudden loss.

"This is incredibly difficult for me to write, as there are no words to describe what Melissa meant to this world. Melissa was the most accepting person I knew. She was generous, dependable, and extremely intelligent. Melissa was so kind. She was encouraging, creative, and spontaneous. There truly are not enough words that I can use. I have been touched to see all of the friends and loved ones sharing memories. Her spirit was truly a light in the world," Haight wrote.

A friend wrote of Huling: "Coleen was an amazing, loyal, kind, smart, and talented friend, sister, daughter, and family member that anyone could ask for."

More than $15,000 has been raised so far for Williamson, and another for $12,000 has come in for Huling's memorial.

"My goal is to ease the financial burden on Melissa's family," Haight wrote. "Many of us know the costs that go into a service, and I feel that the Williamson's should not have to worry about finances during this impossible time. Her parents, Matt and Kerri, are some of the most selfless people I know. They lost their child. Her sister, Michaella lost her other half, her twin sister. Renee and Josh unexpectedly lost their big sister. Her family lost a granddaughter, a niece, a cousin, a role model, a friend."
