Highland Park Detective Placed On Administrative Leave After Arrest Of Thanedar's Campaign Manager

David Bullock Alexander was arrested for allegedly interfering with an investigation

HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. (WWJ) -- A Highland Park Police Detective has been placed on administrative leave after a very public arrest went viral online.

David Alexander Bullock -- Detroit pastor and campaign manager for Democrat Shri Thanadar's gubernatorial campaign -- was arrested last week for allegedly interfering with an investigation outside his church. He was taken into custody, ticketed, and released. 

Detective Keath Bartenski has been identified as the officer placed on leave.

State Police are assisting in the investigation.

Highland Park Police Department's investigative unit has reached out to Bullock to get a statement, but he has not responded.
