Man In Detroit Tigers Jersey Wanted In Burger King Cash Grab [VIDEO]

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are looking for tips from the public to identify and locate a man who robbed a local fast food restaurant.

The crime occurred shortly before noon on Friday, June 8, at the Burger King located in the 17000 Block of East Warren, on the city's east side. 

According to police, the man approached the counter and ordered some food. When the cashier left the counter to get some change, the suspect reached over and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, then fled on foot.

The suspect, as seen on security camera video released by police is described as a black male with a dark complexion. He is around 6 feet tall and and 220 lbs. and was wearing a white Detroit Tigers #54 Joel Zumaya jersey and dark colored shorts.
