Man Dressed As Woman Found Shot To Death In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are searching for a suspect after a member of the LGBT community was found shot to death. 

Police say the body of a man dressed in women's clothes was discovered shortly before 6 a.m. Friday in the area of McNichols Road and Brush Street, just east of Woodward Avenue. 

Meantime, a man who is a CPL holder went to a water department building in the area and said he fired his gun during an attempted robbery, but he wasn't sure if he hit anyone. That man is currently being interviewed by police. 

Investigators haven't yet said if the two incidents are connected.

Other circumstances weren't immediately clear. 

An investigation is ongoing. 

No arrests have been made.
