OAKLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WWJ) -- Police are looking for a man who robbed a Subway sandwich shop in Oakland Township Sunday.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office says they responded to the Subway in the 4800 block of Adams Road for an armed robbery that had just occurred shortly before 8 p.m.

Surveillance video shows a man in a "construction style outfit" with a dust mask covering part of his face approach the counter and order a sandwich. As the employee finishes preparing the sandwich and gives the suspect two cookies, the man pulls out a semi-automatic handgun. He racked the gun and demanded money from the register.

The suspect exited the store and fled on foot with his meal, as well as approximately $200 in cash.

Oakland County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and conducted a K-9 track. The K-9 units tracked the suspect to the rear of the shopping center, where it is believed that he had a vehicle waiting for him. The suspect was not located.

Police describe the suspect as approximately 30 years old, between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet-tall. Anyone who recognizes the suspect or knows any information about the robbery is asked to call Ctime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
