Man Wanted For Late Night Shooting Outside Bar On Detroit's West Side

There was a verbal dispute before the non-fatal shooting.

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man they say shot another man at a bar on the city's west side early Sunday morning.

The suspect, identified as 46-year-old Rickey Streeters Jr., had allegedly gotten into a verbal dispute with the 42-year-old victim around 2 a.m. Sunday at a bar in the 15000 block of Grand River Avenue. Police say that's when Streeters pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the body. Police did not give the name of the bar where the shooting happened.

Streeters fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. 

The victim was treated for a non-life threatening injury.

Police desccribe Streeters as 5-foot-7, 185 lbs., with dark complexion and a bald head. He was last seen wearing a gray Champion jogging suit and was armed at the time.
