(WWJ) Detroit's youth can weigh in on the impact and spread of the coronavirus at a virtual town hall meeting hosted by Detroit Police Athletic League this week.

Watch it LIVE HERE from 7:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 14th.

"How Youth Can Stop the Spread of COVID19" is the topic of the second of a three part series on Conversations about the New Normal put on by the organization. The first meeting April 30th focused on mental health.

Det PAL Chief Executive Officer Robert Jamerson says, "we realized that dealing with uncertainty and loss and having different mechanisms to be able to cope were things that we needed to address." We thought this [series] was very foundational, Jamerson said.

Javar B. Jackson, an infection prevention and epidemiology consultant is the featured panelist.

Fresh Nation Journalism High School Student, Allison Hayes will moderate the exchange with Detroit PAL Youth Development Officer, Marcus Norwood.
