(WWJ) Accuweather is calling it a coating, others may think of it as a heartbreak.

Winter is over, but snow is coming. More snow, that is.

Starting tonight, Accuweather says to expect periods of  rain, sometimes heavy.

Expect some sunny breaks Friday afternoon, then on Saturday, the rain may turn to snow that accumulates from a coating to an inch. Lows will fall to a chilly 36 degrees.

"It's going to be a quick moving system, but it could cause some snowflakes to mix in with the rain," Accuweather's Dean Devore said live on WWJ Newsradio Thursday morning.

Temperatures will stay chilly Sunday and Monday, with highs in the mid 50s. Chilly rain moves back in for Monday.

"The sun may peek out, then we're going to go back," Devore said.
