MSP: 1 Person Injured In Freeway Shooting On I-94

The Lodge Freeway was closed during the investigation

DETROIT (WWJ) - Michigan State Police detectives are investigating a freeway shooting that may be the result of road rage. 

According to a post by MSP - Detroit the incident took place in the area of westbound I-94 and Trumbull. There's little information at this time but it "appears to be road rage," that resulted in the injury of a man which at this time do not appear to be life-threatening. 

Authorities say there are conflicting stories but say one driver fired a gun -- hitting another person. The victim shot drove himself to an area hospital. 

Police found one spent casing at the scene.
