Police Searching For Detroit Teen Who Went Missing Early Thursday Morning

She was last seen in the 9000 block of Evergreen on the city's west side.

DETROIT (WWJ) -- The search is on for a Detroit teenager who was last seen early Thursday morning. 

Detroit police say 14-year-old Saniya Cole-Black's family reported the teen left their residence in the 9000 block of Evergreen Road, just north of Joy Road on the city's west side. The teen was last seen at about 2 a.m., and authorities say she left the location and took clothes with her.

Cole-Black is described as a black female with medium complexion and is approximately 5-foot-5, 110 lbs., with burgundy hair.

She was last seen wearing a white coat with a brown fur collar, burgundy stretch pants and white, burgundy and black Jordan gym shoes.

Authorities are asking anyone who has seen Saniya Cole Black or knows of her whereabouts to call the Detroit Police Department’s Sixth Precinct at 313-596-5640. Calls can also be made anoymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
