17-Year-Old Girl Goes Missing On Detroit's East Side

DETROIT (WWJ) -- The search is on for a Detroit teenager who went missing last weekend.

Detroit police say 17-year-old Shrome Goodman was last seen around 9 p.m. on Jan. 24 at her family's home in the 5000 block of Cooper, near Warren and McClellan Avenues on the city's east side. Authorities say Goodman left the location and hasn't been seen since.

Goodman is described as about 5-foot-6, 135 lbs., with medium complexion and long, black hair. She was last seen wearing a black and white Adidas jogging suit and gray Ugg boots.

The teenager is said to be in good physical and mental condition, but has a history of running away from home in the past.
