LANSING (WWJ) - A fourth person has died as a result of a plane crash near Lansing last week

The Clinton County Sheriff's Office said Monday that 27-year old Zechariah Bennett of Indiana died over the weekend.

Three others -- 46-year old Neil Sego, 51-year old John Lowe and 67 year old Timothy Clark of Indiana -- were killed the morning of Oct. 3 when the single-engine TBM 700 crashed in Dewitt Twp. while preparing to land at Capital Regional International Airport.

The two surviving occupants of the plane, also identified as Indiana residents, were critically injured, authorities said.

It's still unclear what caused the crash. Clinton County Sheriff Larry Jerue said that while the impact was great, the plane remained mostly intact.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) continue to investigate.
