SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) -  If you're looking to break into the movie biz, this could be your chance. Extras are needed for a new film set in 1950's Detroit by an Oscar winning filmmaker.

"Kill Switch" is a crime drama set to shoot in Detroit from April through May. It will be directed by Steven Soderbergh and is expected to include actors Josh Brolin and Don Cheadle.

An open casting call for extras, age 18 and older, will take place Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Southfield Marriott, 27033 Northwestern Highway.

Extras will need to be available from April 1 through May 25, and will be paid for their work on set. Anyone interested is asked to pre-register on the Real Style website, at Fill out the information and select "FREE registration as an extra for the following movie: 1950 Movie" at the end of the form.

This would be a return to Detroit for Soderbergh, who directed "Out of Sight" starring George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez here in 1998.
