Detroit Police: Man Reported Missing After Leaving Home Sunday Morning

29-year-old Lu'Zjaie Captain was last seen on the city's east side.

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are asking for the public's help in locating a man who went missing from the city's east side Sunday morning.

Authorities say 29-year-old Lu'Zjaie Captain was last seen around 9 a.m. Sunday leaving his residence in the 5000 block of Grayton Street, south of I-94 near Cadieux Road. Police say he was last seen heading north on Grayton towards Harper.

Police describe Captain as a 29-year-old black male, approximately 5-foot-10, 210 lbs., with brown eyes, brown braided hair, a beard and mustache. Captain has neck tattoos and was wearing a blue and black jacket, blue and black basketball shorts, black tennis shoes and purple sunglasses.

Captain is in good physical condition, but poor mental condition, according to police.
