Detroit Police: Woman With Bipolar Disorder Found Safe

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police says a 60-year-old woman reported missing last week has been located.

Police had asked from the public as they searched for Kyra King, who disappeared Friday, Nov. 1, at around 8:30 p.m., in the 6000 block of W. Outer Drive.  

Her mother told police that King never returned to her home, in the 11700 block of Wilshire.

There was concern for her wellbeing, as she suffers from bipolar disorder. 

Police sent an update Nov. 7 saying that King had been found safe. No additional details were released.
