Macomb County Driver Arrested 4th Time For OWI

RAY TWP. (WWJ) - A man pulled over for "driving erratically" in northern Macomb County is facing his fourth drunken driving charge.

The driver, identified as a 35-year-old man from Richmond Township, spent the weekend in jail after he was stopped in his Saturn Ion at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday in Ray Township.

In a tweet, Michigan State Police said troopers with the Metro North Post determined that the man was drunk; and discovered that he had three previous convictions on charges of operating while intoxicated. 

The man was arrested and taken to the Macomb County Jail on expected charges of OWI, fourth offense/high BAC (blood alcohol content). 

The suspect's name was not immediately released. His arraignment is pending a prosector's review of the police investigation.
