ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - A Troy man is facing assault charges after a road rage incident in Royal Oak.

Police arrested Casey Bondy last Friday after he allegedly pointed a gun at another driver near 13 Mile and Harvard roads, between Woodward Avenue and Greenfield Road.

Investigators say Bondy and the other driver exchanged hand gestures before the gun came out.

Bondy was arraigned Sunday on one count of felonious assault with a dangerous weapon. Bond was set at $3,000, with no 10 percent.

The 22-year-old doesn't have a criminal history, but faces up to four years in jail and a $2,000 fine.
