ROSEVILLE (WWJ) - A 52-year-old man is facing charges after he was allegedly masterbating in full view of others at Roseville's Macomb Mall.

Macomb County Prosecutor Eric Smith on Friday announced the case against Joseph Glowczynski of Roseville.

According to police, Glowczynski was observed by security inside the mall on March 11 watching a "provocative video"on his cell phone. The defendant then sat down in the seating area in front of the Kohl’s store inside the mall.

That's when it's alleged Glowczynski proceeded to expose himself and begin masturbating while continuing to watch the video on his phone. Around four minutes later Glowczynski left the seating area and exited the mall

Glowczynski was taken into custody by Roseville police who were called when he was spotted at the mall again the next day.

He's charged with Aggravated Indecent Exposure, a 2-year high court misdemeanor. Additionally, he could be convicted of Sexually Delinquent Person Notice - Indecent Exposure, characterized by repetitive or compulsive acts, which carries an alternate sentence of up to life in prison.

Michigan Department of Corrections records show Glowczynski has a criminal record including indecent exposure charges in Macomb County.
“This is clearly a case of a defendant who has sexually deviant tendencies,” Smith said, in a statement. “We applaud the outstanding work of the Macomb Mall Security Officers and the Roseville Police Department, taking this incident seriously before the defendant could expose himself again."

Glowczynski was arraigned Friday afternoon in 39th District Court. Bond was set at $25,000 cash/surety/10% on the condition he wear an electrionic tether if he'd released.
