It's alleged that the man pushed the victim into his van, held her at knife-point and threatened to kill her while his girlfriend drove the van around Pontiac for about half an-hour.

The suspect then robbed the woman, officials say, before spraying her in the face with Mace and pushing her out of the van in the area of Linda Vista Drive and Joslyn Road.

A Good Samaritan pulled over to help the victim, and called 911.

Deputies arrived to find the victim lying in the street, unable to open her eyes. EMS was called, but officials say the woman refused medial treatment,

Deputies were able to find arrest the suspect, a 27-year-old Pontiac man. He is being held in the Oakland County Jail waiting criminal charges. The girlfriend, a 24-year old Pontiac woman, was also arrested but was later released as the investigation continues.

No names have been released.
