Man Shot Dead At Stop Sign On Detroit's West Side

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police have more questions than answers after a 31-year-old man was fatally shot while waiting at a stop sign on Detroit's west side.

The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday at the corner of Robson Street and Fenkell Avenue, between Greenfield Road and Hubbell Avenue.

According to police, the victim was stopped at a stop sign when a white vehicle pulled alongside of him and someone inside fired shots, striking him.

After the shooting, the victim's black Dodge Durango coasted across the street and then struck a building. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have no suspects at this time. Circumstance surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
