Missing 88-Year-Old Man Walked Away From Southfield Care Facility

Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,200 reward

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - Southfield police are asking for help from the public as they search for a missing 88-year-old man.

There is great concern for the well being of Robert James Brunsden, as he suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, according to police.

It's believed that Brunsden walked away from the Franklin Terrace Memory Care Facility, located at 26962 Franklin Road in Southfield, on Saturday, Sept. 7, at around 6:45 p.m.

He was last seen in the area of 11 Mile Road and Telegraph at 7 p.m. that evening, and has since been listed as an endangered missing person.

Brunsden is described as a white male, 5’8” tall, weighing approximately 130 lbs. He has long white hair and blue eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a khaki windbreaker jacket, blue jeans and brown slippers.

Crime Stoppers is now offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for any information that leads to locating this missing man.
