Person Of Interest In Fatal Detroit Stabbing Caught On Video

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are trying to identify a person of interest in a deadly stabbing that happened last month on the city's southwest side.

The 28-year-old victim was found around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7 in the 6100 block of Michigan Avenue, near Livernois, with a stab wound to her body. She was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.

Police have released surveillance footage of a man described as a person of interest in the case. He's 5'7" to 5'9" tall with a slim build; last seen wearing dark-colored work boots, tan pants that are soiled around the knees, a dark-colored shirt and a hat.
