Campus Alert: Police Looking For Suspect In 'Possible Sexual Assault' At MSU

EAST LANSING (WWJ) - Police are searching for a suspect in a "possible sexual assault" on the Michigan State University campus in East Lansing.  

According to a "timely warning" alert sent to MSU students and staff, the university said the incident -- reported to campus police on Sunday -- happened Sunday at the South Research Pavilion and Livestock Buildings.

There have been no arrests, and further details surrounding the alleged attack were not immediately released.

The suspect was described as white male, approximately 5’11'' tall, with dark hair, wearing a green and black plaid shirt and jeans. There was no description of a vehicle associated with the suspect.

The university said an investigation by campus police is ongoing.
