Police Seek Person Of Interest In Case Of Ford F-150 Set On Fire

DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are asking for the public's help to identify and locate a person of interest in an arson case. 

According to investigators, a 2018 Ford F-150 pickup was found burned in the 9200 block of Freeland, on Detroit's west side. 

Police said a person of interest was seen getting out of the truck on Wednesday, Sept.  25, at around 4:10 a.m., then walking northbound on Freeland. The truck, police said, was later set on fire.

Police released two photos of the person, but did not call him a suspect, saying instead that they believe he "may have information pertaining to the burned vehicle."

He's described as an unknown male wearing a red Nike sweatshirt, with a black Nike logo, and gray sweatpants.
