'Road Rage' Between Semi-Truck Drivers On I-75 Leads To Shooting

FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - An apparent case of road rage on I-75 lands a local man in jail for attempted murder.
The Monroe County Sheriff's office says two semi-trucks were traveling on I-75 near Nadeau Road in Frenchtown Township around 12:45 p.m. Friday, when a 50-year-old Roseville man fired shots at the other driver as they drove down the highway.
Police caught up with the suspect and he was taken into custody at the scene. A handgun found in his truck was seized. Deputies also located the second semi-truck, which had a bullet lodged in the door. The 68-year-old driver was not injured.
The Roseville man is now facing a charge of assault with intent to murder.
