Southfield Teen Goes Missing After Argument With Mom

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - Tips are wanted in the case of a missing teenager from Southfield.

Authorities are searching for 16-year-old Jalen Spight, who hasn't been seen by his family since Wednesday.

According to police, Spight left voluntarily after getting into an argument with this mother at their home in the 28000 block of North Lowell Court, in the area of 12 Mile Rd. and Evergreen Rd., at around 7:45 p.m. on Dec. 11.

He was last known to be in the area of North Villa Dr. and Evergreen in Southfield, according to investigators. 

Spight is described as an African-American male, 6'1'' tall and weighing around 160 lbs., with his hair in cornrows. He was last seen wearing a brown puffer jacket, black t-shirt, black jeans and black shoes. 

He has black painted finger nails, police said, and was wearing an earring in his left ear.
