The MSP Downriver Area Narcotics Organization (DRANO) has been investigating a drug trafficking ring for some time that's been selling a "large volume" of heroin and crack, specifically in the city of Taylor,  according to police.

Thursday morning, officers executed search warrants in connection in Taylor as well as in Romulus and Detroit, and found 60 grams of crack cocaine, along with oxycodone, two AK-47 rifles, one AR-15 rifle, three pistols and $2,655 in cash.

A packaging and processing area for heroin was located at the Detroit house, police said, and stolen, re-tagged Dodge Charger was also seized.

At least two suspects are expected to face conspiracy charges.

Their names were not immediately released as the investigation continues.
