Cops: Suspected ID Thief Caught On Camera At Westland Target

The Bloomfield Township Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect wanted for questioning an an identity theft investigation. 

Police got a call from a resident in the 40000 block of Woodward Ave. in Bloomfield on Jan. 2 reporting that he'd receceived several credit card in the mail that he had not applied for. The victim checked his credit report and discovered five additional credit card accounts opened in his name, police said.

Police began invesitgating, and the suspect was captured on store surveillance video at a Target store in Westland.

The suspect is described as a black male, 30-35 years old, with a medium complexion. He has a moustache, beard, and with long shoulder-length dread-locks.
