CADILLAC, Mich. (WWJ) - Police Up North are looking for tips in what they calling an "abhorrent" case of vandalism.

The Cadillac Police Department on Monday released photos of Nazi symbols that were spray-painted on the sidewalk along the Clam River, between Lake and Bond streets, in Cadillac.

"The City of Cadillac is an amazing community that welcomes people from all walks of life," police said in a news release. "The swastikas were spray painted by an ignorant individual and the act of tagging the swastika is abhorrent and illegal."

The hate symbols showed up over the weekend, police said.

So far, no suspects have been described.
