Two Detroit Police Officers Injured In Hit-and-Run

(WWJ) Two Detroit police officers are recovering from a hit-and-run crash on the city’s west side.

Police say a driver in a white Nissan Pathfinder ran a stop sign and slammed into the police cruiser at Braille and Chicago Street. He or she took off, according to Detroit Police.

The police car caught fire. 

The officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to recover.
