DETROIT (WWJ) -- A woman is behind bars for an alleged string of arson fires on Detroit's east side this summer.

The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office says 23-year-old Keiasha Alexis Love has been charged with three counts of third degree arson at three different vacant dwellings in Detroit. Authorities are unsure of Love's city of residence.

Authorities say all three unoccupied homes were in the same area, near Gratiot Avenue and south of 7 Mile Road. The prosecutor's office says Love first struck on June 24 at a home in the 13900 block of Eastwood Street. Love is also accused of setting fire to an unoccupied single-family home in the 14200 block of Saratoga Avenue on Aug. 4.

About two weeks later, authorities say another fire was set at an unoccupied home in the 14400 block of Linnhurst Street.

The Detroit Fire Department was called to all three blazes and extinguished them, determining they were all intentionally set. An investigation eventually led to Love's arrest.

In addition to three counts of third degree arson, she is facing one count of arson -- preparation to burn real property.

Love arraigned Thursday afternoon in 36th District Court and received a $15,000/10% bond. She has court dates scheduled for Sept. 19 and Sept. 24 in 36th District Court.
