BLOOMFIELD TWP. (WWJ) - Bloomfield Township police are looking for a serial whiskey thief.

According to investigators, the manager at the Rite Aid at 42931 Woodward Ave., at Square Lake Rd., noticed a "suspicious female" in the store last Thursday night, which led him to review the security camera footage.

On the recording, police said, the manager saw the same woman concealing and stealing three half-gallon size bottles of Crown Royal whiskey earlier in the evening.

A further review of the footage revealed the woman was also in the store on Feb. 16, police said. That time it's alleged she concealed and stole four 750 ml. bottles of Crown Royal.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set black female, wearing dark clothing and flipflops. She left the area in a dark colored Hyundai Sonata driven by a black male who was wearing dark clothing. Police did not immediately release any photos of the suspect.

While the investigation continues, anyone with information is asked to call the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248-433-7755.
