ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - The University of Michigan is alerting football fans to arrive earlier than usual for Saturday's game against Michigan State.

Because of the snow, the U of M Golf Course will not be available for parking. The State Street, Main Street and driving range entrances will all be closed.

Ann Arbor Golf and Outing, which is not affiliated with U-M, has also announced that it will be closed to the public with parking there only available only to the club's season members.

The Stadium Blvd. entrance will be open for pass holders. Importantly, the ADA parking lot (Green Lot) will be open as usual for cash sales with no impact from the weather.

U-M's parking resource page will be updated as announcements occur, at THIS LINK.  Game-goers are also encourage to consult the Division of Public Safety and Security WAZE parking page HERE. The page will be updated in real-time starting Saturday morning with traffic and Big House parking availability. These pages also outline additional parking and shuttle options.

The athletic department is also urging fans to plan for cold weather and wear winter coats, hats, gloves and appropriate footwear.

AccuWeather says the high in Ann Arbor on Saturday is a chilly 31 degrees, although it's only expected to be in the mid-to-upper 20s at game time.

Kickoff is at noon.
