Police: Killer May Be Driving Black Jeep Cherokee

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are searching for a cold-blooded killer who gunned down a man on the city's west side.

The shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the 13000 block of W. 7 Mile, just east of the Lodge Freeway.

According to police, the suspect and victim were involved in a physical altercation outside of the location. After the scuffle, police say the victim entered the location and the suspect removed a handgun from his vehicle, which was parked nearby. The suspect then entered the location and fired multiple shots, fatally striking the victim.

The suspect fled the scene in a black 2017 Jeep Cherokee. He's described as a 29-year-old black man with a light complexion, 5'8" tall and 230 lbs. with a full beard.
