Police: Missing 16-Year-Old Girl Didn't Make It To School

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are asking for tips from the public to find a teen girl who went missing last Friday.

Sierra Jones was last seen by her father on May 11 at approximately 7:45 a.m. in the area of Woodward and Seldon. She was spotted heading toward a nearby coffee shop, but she did not make it to school, according to police.

Jones is described as a black female, 5’5” tall, with a slim build and light complexion, and long hair extensions. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and a black jacket. 

Police say Jones is believed ot be in good mental and physical condition.
